We just got back from our 20
week ultrasound. We're having a girl! She weighs 12 ounces and her
heart rate came in at 145. Kirsten has been downgraded from high risk
because everything is going so well. Just 20 or so weeks to go.

Say Cheese!
7 Weeks, 156 heart beats per minute, and due at the end of August.
We had our first ultrasound today, and everything looks great. Baby (Peanut around our house) and Mom are both doing well. Especially if you look past the morning sickness and fatigue. Now that we're through this first big step we're both really happy and excited. We'll continue to keep everyone updated and we look forward to sharing many more (and much cuter) pictures in the future.

Back from vacation
We just got back yesterday from spending a week in Denver for Christmas. Other then Amtrak and the weather we had a great time. I wanted to post this picture, and I'm sure Kirsten will have more of a post vacation wrap-up once we get over the shock of going back to work tomorrow. Backyard Sunset
We had a great looking sunset tonight, I set up my tripod and played around with some long shutter speeds and got the picture above. It's not exactly what I wanted, but it's an interesting start. I'll have to play around with it more.
